I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Philly-based choreographer and dance instructor, and former NFL cheerleader.
I help dancers improve their health and fuel like athletes, so they can feel and perform their absolute best.

Dance used to make me hate my body.
All I’ve ever done is dance. But I recall always feeling like the largest girl on my team––super tall, wore size large costumes (everyone else was XS), and I had huge boobs. I also had severe digestive issues my entire life. Chronic constipation, intense bloating, and crippling stomach pain that often interfered with dance practices and competitions. It so was hard to always perform my best when I often felt my worst.
After college, I didn’t dance at all for FIVE YEARS! Eventually I realized how much I missed dance, and remembered that I always wanted to dance for the NBA or NFL. So I got my butt back in class! Picking dance back up was the easy part, but, in my journey to go pro, I struggled hard with body image and disordered eating. I also noticed almost everyone in the pro dance world struggled with the same things as me.

I never thought I would have the “pro cheer” body…
I didn’t look like the girls on teams I wanted to be on, but I was determined stubborn. I didn’t drink or socialize AT ALL for months, I was spending an hour on the stair master every day, & I basically ate zero carbs except vegetables for over a year (hint: veggies don’t really count as carbs). I went about it alllllll wrong.
And I still hated the way I looked. Not to mention the damage I did to my hormone, thyroid, & gut health due to chronic under-eating.
But, I refused to believe that starving myself was the only way to get what I wanted, & I was determined to figure it out without doing further harm to my body or my self-esteem.
Now I help dancers achieve the body they want inside & out, heal their relationship with food, eat enough to fuel their dancing, & improve their body image.
My personal experiences inspired me to pursue formal education & certifications (deets below), & start coaching dancers to help them through the same things I struggled with.
In working with dancers, I combine my education & experiences to go way beyond calorie counting & meal plans. I help you figure out what foods work best for you & how much you really need to eat to fuel your performance (hint: it’s almost always more than you think).
We also work on improving digestion to get rid of bloating & stomach pain, increasing energy levels to support the strenuous demands of dance, ensuring we’re getting plenty of vitamins & minerals from nourishing whole foods, & creating sustainable, healthy habits.
