Fueling Your Dancer: Nutrition Workshop for Dance Parents
Virtual LIVE training!
Wednesday, april 16th @ 8—9:30pm est
Feeding your active dancer can feel overwhelming and stressful, especially with busy schedules, picky eaters, and budget constraints. If you’re wondering what or how much your dancer should be eating, we have a training just for you!
Join Ally Miller (NTP) and Rayner Feller (MS, RDN, pediatric dietitian) of Eating With Al, LLC., for a value-packed 90 min virtual workshop for parents of dancers under age 18.
This workshop is for you if you want to ensure your dancer is eating enough; you’ve struggled with picky eating; you’re unsure how to handle snacking, sweets, or junk food; and you want clear + realistic nutrition guidance that doesn’t involve strict rules.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
Science-backed info on nutrition needs for growing dancers based on age, activity level, and performance goals
Practical tools for planning + structuring meals and snacks throughout a typical dance day (including sample ideas)
What and when supplements may or may not be helpful
Signs of under-fueling to look out for and how to support your dancer’s overall health, growth, and development with food
How to talk about food and body image in a supportive, non-restrictive way
*If you can’t attend live, you will still receive the recording! Though we highly encourage live attendance, as there will be a Q&A at the end to get your specific questions answered.
